경남도는 세계 최대 항공우주박람회인 파리에어쇼에서 도내 항공기업의 수출상담과 수주활동을 지원해 총 145건, 9억 달러 규모의 수출상담 성과를 올렸다고 23일 밝혔다.
지난 16일부터 22일까지 프랑스 파리 르부르제 공항에서 열린 2025 파리에어쇼(Paris Airshow 2025)에 경남도는 사천시, 경남테크노파크, 코트라 파리무역관, 도내 13개 기업과 참여했다.
에어쇼 기간 도내 기업은 보잉, 에어버스, 콜린스 에어로스페이스, 노스롭 그루먼, 엠브레어 등 글로벌 우주항공 선도기업과 100여 건의 기술협력 및 수주 상담, 기업 홍보 등을 진행했다.
특히, 도내 ㈜에이엔에이치스트럭쳐사(대표 안현수)는 영국 도심항공모빌리티(UAM)기업 SORA Aviation사와 30인승급 eVTOL 개발계획과 관련한 객실, 조종석, 승객석 등 기내 인테리어 전반의 국제 공동개발을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.
송월테크놀로지사(대표 박준환)는 카본 에어로스페이스(QARBON Aerospace)사와 항공엔진 분야 신규사업 협력을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을, ㈜한국항공우주산업과 록히드 마틴(Lockheed Martin)사는 전략적 협력분야 확장을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.
도는 세계우주항공클러스터연합(GACP), 프랑스 에어로스페이스밸리(Aerospace Valley), 일본 아이치현, 중국 텐진 경제개발지구 등 선도 클러스터의 강점을 벤치마킹하고 경남 우주항공클러스터와 클러스터 간 교류 방안을 논의했다.
특히, 사천시와 함께 2026 사천에어쇼 글로벌 우주항공방위산업전의 성공적 개최를 위해 적극적으로 홍보했다.
디케이락사 관계자는 “경남도의 지원을 받아 처음으로 세계 최대 우주항공 박람회에 참가해 글로벌 고객들과 실효성 있는 미팅을 많이 할 수 있어 큰 도움이 됐다.”며 다음에도 참여하길 희망한다고 소감을 전했다.
경남도는 “세계 최대 우주항공박람회인 파리에어쇼 참가를 통하여 도내 항공기업들의 글로벌 공급망이 더욱 확대하기를 기대하며, 도내 항공기업의 실질적인 수출 확대로 이어질 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
Gyeongnam Province Secures $900 Million in Export Consultations at the 2025 Paris Airshow
Gyeongnam Province announced on June 23 that it achieved export consultation results worth approximately 9 billion USD through 145 business meetings by supporting local aerospace companies at the world’s largest aerospace exhibition, the 2025 Paris Airshow.
Held from June 16 to 22 at Le Bourget Airport in Paris, France, the province participated in the global event alongside Sacheon City, Gyeongnam Technopark, the KOTRA Paris Trade Office, and 13 companies from the Gyeongnam region.
During the airshow, Gyeongnam-based firms held over 100 business consultations with global aerospace leaders such as Boeing, Airbus, Collins Aerospace, Northrop Grumman, and Embraer. The sessions covered a wide range of topics including technical cooperation, business development, and promotional activities.
A key outcome was an MoU signed between ANH Structure Co., Ltd. (CEO: Hyunsoo Ahn) and UK-based SORA Aviation, a leader in urban air mobility (UAM). The agreement outlines a joint international development plan for cabin interiors—including cockpit and passenger seating—for a next-generation 30-seat eVTOL aircraft.
Songwol Technology Co., Ltd. (CEO: Junhwan Park) also signed an MoU with QARBON Aerospace for collaboration in new aerospace engine projects, while Korea Aerospace Industries, Ltd. and Lockheed Martin signed an MoU to expand their strategic partnership.
In addition, Gyeongnam Province held strategic networking sessions with leading global aerospace clusters such as the Global Aerospace Cluster Partnership (GACP), France's Aerospace Valley, Aichi Prefecture in Japan, and Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area in China. Discussions focused on benchmarking best practices and promoting inter-cluster cooperation with the Gyeongnam Aerospace Cluster.
The province and Sacheon City also took the opportunity to promote the 2026 Sacheon Airshow & Global Aerospace and Defense Industry Exhibition, seeking global participation and interest in the upcoming event.
A representative from DK-Lok Corporation, a participating Gyeongnam firm, commented:
“Thanks to Gyeongnam Province’s support, we were able to attend the world’s largest aerospace expo for the first time. The meetings with global clients were highly productive, and we hope to participate again in the future.”
A provincial official stated,
“By participating in the Paris Airshow, we expect Gyeongnam’s aerospace firms to further expand their reach in the global supply chain. We will continue to offer proactive support to drive substantial export growth.”
